Blueprint for Article 6 Readiness in member countries of the West African Alliance

International cooperation under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement on market and non-market-based activities can support countries in mobilizing resources for mitigation action that collectively helps reach nationally determined contributions and raise ambition therein. National capabilities, including ready-for-purpose institutional frameworks and adequate technical capacities, must be in place to achieve stepwise Article 6 readiness.
