Call for Applications for the West African Alliance: Local experts and roster of experts
Call for applications to our local experts
In its third implementation phase (2024–2028), the Alliance builds on the success of its two previous funding phases (2017–2020; 2020–2024) to deepen its work within countries and strengthen sub-regional cooperation. A key priority remains supporting the Article 6 focal points to advance national readiness for Article 6, which continues to be a central objective of the Alliance. This requires a collaborative and localized approach that enables member countries to address their specific challenges and seize opportunities, while also fostering regional and sub-regional synergies.
In this context, we are in the process of recruiting local experts to realize this vision. The selected experts will be well positioned to work with Alliance partners and the Secretariat to identify needs and ensure that Article 6 readiness activities are effectively integrated into national strategies, while also promoting greater opportunities for collaboration and engagement across countries.
